The program is free and designed to create safer, more inclusive sporting environments for young people aged 12–17 and their mentors, building leadership skills both on and off the field. Endorsed by Ben Brown, former AFL footballer, premiership player with Melbourne Football Club, and long-time advocate for gender equality, diversity, and inclusion and Kiera Austin, professional netballer with the Australian Diamonds and champion of respectful, inclusive sporting culture, the program features filmed stories and messages from both athletes, which are woven into the workshop content. The 2025 Coaches for the Under 12 age group are: Shayne McKean & Mark Osborne There will be 2 x Grading sessions held on Sunday the 16th & 23rd of February 2025 (Auskick graduates must attend at least 1 session) Arundel St Auskick Ovals running from 9.00am till 10.30am Please make sure your child brings a water bottle & hat with them. These sessions are all about getting the kids down there and getting them to know the kids that played last year that will help guide them and assist them into their junior football transition, do some basic skills and drills and have some fun and maybe even a short game at the end. After the 2 sessions are conducted an independant panel will allocate the new players evenly between Benalla Red and Benalla Black.

Benalla Auskick has organised an Interleague game with Mansfield Auskick 9-11's The game will be played on Sunday 21st July at Benalla Showgrounds. Please register your player here (use their details) so we can update you with training and game details.

The 2024 Coaches for the Under 12 age group are: Zac Parker  Shayne McKean There will be 2 x Allocation/Training sessions held on  Sunday the 25th of February & Sunday the 3rd of March Arundel St Ovals running from 9.00am till 10.30am Please make sure your child brings a water bottle & hat with them and we will have some icy poles for the kids at the end of the sessions. These sessions are all about getting the kids down there and getting them to know the kids that played last year that will help guide them and assist them into their junior football transition, do some basic skills and drills and have some fun and maybe even a short game at the end. After the 2 sessions are conducted an independant panel will divide the kids evenly over the 2 sides.
